24 Hour Time

 

Taiao has been working on time for maths and we had to make a DLO about one of our goals from the maths diagnostic tests, my goal was about 24 hour time and how to change to and from 24-hour clock times.

It was easy because I already partially knew how to do it because of times on devices, but it was still fun.

I hope this is easy to understand and that you learn something from this!

Astronauts finally find source of year-long air leak.

 

Yesterday Taiao did another current events quiz.

Today we did the research on one of the questions and I did mine on the air leak on the International space station, it was really interesting to read about and I learnt a lot from it.

Maui #2

 

I made this drawing of Maui on piskel for Maori language week.

It took me a while to make and it turned out ok.

The part I liked about doing it was definitely drawing it.

The part I didn't like was how it was so square.

This is the second thing I have made on piskel and it is a great site for drawing online.

Since it is Maori language week I made this quiz.

It took a long time to make because of the research and figuring out what questions to put on.

Maui

Since this week is Maori language week I made a drawing of Maui.

This took me about an hour to make but I like how it turned.

The part I don't like about it is how the eyes look and the way the hands and arms are all wonky, and the feet disappeared.

To make a drawing like this I used the platform Piskel, on this app you can trace things and you can draw things.

In class, we have been learning about the zones in the ocean and we had to make a slide show with each zone and this is my one. I hope you like it!

Hello Goodbye

This is my Hello Goodbye poem.

What I enjoyed about making it was writing it.

What I didn't enjoy so much was thinking of what to write that was quite hard.
